Pros and cons of iSpeak Polish app for iPhone and iPad

iSpeak Polish app good for

Thiis app does its job very well. You can enter several sentences at once and then hit translate. If it is not perfect edit it then hit speak! You will be amazed. Polish voice sounds natural and is very nice. You will not be able to tell that it is synthetised. You can save a list of your translations for future uses. This can be great tool for travel or to teach your girlfriend/boyfriend Polish or your visitors from Poland to learn English. I cant wait for copy and paste comming with iphone OS 3.0 this summer. It will make this app even more usefull.
The app is easy to use and provides excellent translations from English to Polish. The voice-over is clear and correct. I noted only one problem: when I wanted a translation for "yesterday" I was given "wiecorem" (evening) when "wczoraj" should have been given. Highly recommended.
A very useful application. I am great with it. I am looking forward to more of these type translators Polish-Italian, Polish-German and Polish-Japanse
Great app, the dev. team listened to their feedback and added a feature critical to perfeting the apps use in learning to pronounce words (you can now edit the translated word/s and have it speak whatever you input, even when you dont have a net connection. This app is worth far more than the current pricepoint! Thanks Future Apps!
The voice/text-to-speech is incredible, (alot) better than most consumer/pay probrams for the PC. The app allows you to input whatever you want and it will speak it back with either an English or polish pronunciation. Because of this, the app is well worth the money simply for its tts capabilities. The translations are lacking though. For some reasons some words/phrases are not translated at all. Other than this glitch the translations are just about up to par with any online translator, but what more can you expect. It will translate some idiomatic phrases which is pretty nice. Overall I would say its a buy!
The translator is good, there could be more words but it has most of the things you would want to say. I think that the volume needs to be louder, it can barely be heard by the person you translate for when it pronounces it and I dont want to have to mispronounce the phrases myself.

Some bad moments

Is based on google translator so it does exactly the same what any other free translator. The only extra is a speech. A lot of words are missing.
Bought it because my husband has it; loves his but mine I get server errors all the time! More errors then translations!
This used to be a great app. Now it just keeps closing on me. Wanted to ask if is going to get update cant be found.
This app does not translate well. Most translations are literal, and really dont make sense. For some reason the volume of the voice that speaks back the phrase that was translated is located in the settings, and is not controlled by the volume buttons on the phone. The voice is still quiet on full volume. The app is also a huge 150 megabytes, which is strange since it seems to use the internet to do the actual translations
The first thing I did was have the app translate "Hello, how are you?" and it wasnt translated at all. The English and the Polish translations said the same thing. When I hit the "Speak It" button it said something, but I dont think it was even in Polish. The app is useless to me if I cant trust even the simplest translation and I have to check another source to see if its correct. Im glad other people were able to use it, but I suggest you purchase at your own risk.
I find this doesnt have nearly enough words in its translate dictionary. Every second or third word comes back without a translation. I was hoping for better.
